and moved his family to Texas c.1883. He married Margarette Mae Ashworth January 14, 1875 in Fairmount, Gordon County, Georgia. The children as follows: Pearl, George Burch James H., Reed Davison, Homer Herbert, Bill Frankllin, Nellie Leo, Ruby Jewel and Mae Dean.
They lived in Rhome, Texas; were among the first pioneers in Estelline (Hall County Tx) and Floyd County, Tx and spent the remainder of their lives in Lockney, Floyd county, Texas.
