Mrs. Lois R. Reynolds, of Gilford NH, died at the St. Francis Home in Laconia NH on July 1, 2002. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Reynolds was born on Aug. 23, 1917, in Tipton IN, the daughter of Luther L. and Ora Maude (Armstrong) Fillebrown.

Mrs. Reynolds lived in Huntington NY for several years before moving to Gilford more than 20 years ago. She worked for 25 years for Helena Rubenstein, which later merged with Colgate-Palmolive.

Mrs. Reynolds was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Gilford and was a member of the Tuesday Arts and Crafts Club. She was a volunteer at the Lakes Region General Hospital and the American Red Cross for many years and worked part-time for the United Way.

Survivors include her daughters Evelyn L. Bray and husband Richard of Gilford and Judith A. Hogan and husband Thomas of Cold Spring Harbor NY; six grandsons; three great-grandsons; three step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; sister Margelia Coyner of Beechgrove IN; and many nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on July 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. A funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 500 Gilford Ave., Gilford, on July 4th at 10 a.m. The Rev. Victoria Wood Parrish, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilford.
