I believe that Jacob "John" Mengel was actually the husband of Ida Rose Goodwin Mengel (FAG 82439602) who was the sister of Ivy Olive Goodwin Fredrickson. Ivy had several husbands for which I have found the marriage certificates; however, the only marriage certificate for Jacob Mengel was for sister Ida. Ivy's other husbands are already connected to her memorial. Let me know if you have any documentation that may suggest otherwise and I'll edit my Ancestry file.
