BURTON – Michael A. Adamic, age 61, of Burton, passed away at his home Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016.

He was born April 19, 1954, in Chardon, to Joseph and Jeananne (nee Buchanan) Adamic.

Mike was a truck driver for the family business, Adamic Trucking, since the age of 16. He started working as an auto mechanic after he retired from trucking.

He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Newbury Township.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed watching his son play football, and working on cars.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Karen (nee Swegman) Adamic, who he married on April 24, 1999; mother, Jeananne, of Burton; children, Brandon, Mneatha, Megan, Mike, Tannie, Marisa; sisters, Judy Gais, Robin Swinney; brother Joseph Adamic; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; and brother Jeffery, memorial #70779928

Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Jan. 27 at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St, Middlefield, OH 44062.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 28 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12000 Kinsman Road, Newbury, OH 44065. Burial will follow the mass in Weldon Cemetery in Burton.
