Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Myers Chapel in Porterville for Estelle Caroline Goodwin, 85, of Porterville who died Friday. Fr. Tom Upton of St. John's Episcopal Church of Porterville and Rev. Laurence Morley of the United Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Mission Memorial Park in Monterey. Fr. Jerome Politzer of St. John Del Monte in Monterey will officiate at the burial.

Mrs. Goodwin lived in San Francisco and Monterey before moving to Porterville 14 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, George Goodwin and Ken Goodwin of Porterville; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death be her husband Pat Goodwin in 1969; one daughter, Carol Ford in 1984; and one son, Richard Casein 1994.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the Myers Funeral Service Chapel.
