Phill......Hard to put to words what this guy meant to so many people. To me, he was a friend, someone I considered my brother. To his wife and family...he was their rock. I'm not going to put a lot into this, I would not have the room in all the world to speak of Phill. He gave his all, in service to his country. In service to the Boy Scouts. In humble service to his family and to God. When I met him, he was working parttime in a comic book store called Collector's Corner in Springdale Arkansas. He could and would sell me anything Star Trek. I still have many of the items I bought from him there. By the time I moved to Leavenworth, he was a true friend and brother to me. He loved what he did.......truly, I never heard him really complain about anything. As a side note...in the entire time I knew Phill....he never told me his middle name....go figure. He got me on that one..lol
It's been a few months since Phill's passing from cancer....and I still have a tear in my eye. Just know that Phill lived up to my motto I post on Facebook everyday. Make it count. Make your life the best you can, but always make it count. We only have one to live......and live it he did. I miss you my brother.....I know you are in God's care and you are watching over your family. 'Second star to the right.....straight on til morning"
