Funeral Services Wednesday P.M. for Mrs. Dickson

Mrs. Orrie Montfort Dickson died at her home in Birmingham, AL, Monday afternoon of a heart attack. She had been in declining health for several years.

Mrs. Dickson was born in Taylor County the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Montfort. She was married in early young womanhood to Mr. Clifford R. Dickson who preceded her in death several years ago. She had made her home in Birmingham for many years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dickson were conducted at Butler Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock. Rev. James M. Carmichael, pastor, officiated and he was assisted by Rev. H. C. Marx, pastor of the local Methodist church. Interment was in the Butler cemetery.

Pall bearers were Frank Riley, Richard Harding, Franklin Denson, H. D. Wall, David Montfort and Charlie Montfort.

Survivors include: two sons, Bill Dickson and Obie Dickson, both of Houston, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Franklin Denson, of Houston, TX; Mrs. Richard Harding, of Tampa, FL; Mrs. Bebe Dickson, of Birmingham, AL.; three sisters, Mrs. H. H. Riley, of Butler; Mrs. Sara Robinson and Mrs. H. C. Crelly, both of Birmingham, AL.; two brothers, Mr. Cliff Montfort, of Orlando, FL and Mr. Frank Monfort, of Miami, FL.
