Employed at Texas Boiler Works for 40+ years. Talented steel guitar player in a band called Bill Barr and the Sons of Texas. Was discovered by a talent scout and cut a demo record in 1968. Musical career ended with a tragic accident in which he nearly lost his left foot. It was reattached but too stiff to work the pedals. He was also very gifted in many areas, being mostly self taught in carpentry, electronics, auto mechanics, etc. Loving husband to Joan C. Floyd (still living)and father to his daughter, Rande C. Zipprian-Snyder.
