She was born July 7, 1944 in Hartford to the late Ernest F. and Mary S. (Bycul) Heath. A graduate of Windsor High School, she was a Windsor resident before moving to Enfield in 1980.
Joyce was a strong willed woman who faced many obstacles in her life with grace. In particular, she had struggled with Guillain-Barré Syndrome for over thirty years. Despite her difficulties she loved her children and grandchildren. Joyce also enjoyed painting and was a student at the University of Hartford Art School.
She is survived by her son and his wife, her brothers and their wives, and her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son, David Joseph Eisnor.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, February 2, 9:15 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, in the Poquonock section of Windsor. Burial will follow in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Joyce's family will receive friends on Monday, February 1, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
