DORETHEA M. PRICE — KEYSER — Dorethea Mae "Dookie" Price, 68, of Carskadon Lane, Keyser, WV, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at her residence.

Born on April 17, 1946, in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Calvin E. Bruce and Nitra June (Keys) Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Samuel J. White Jr., on Dec. 17, 1997.

Mrs. Price "Dookie" was a graduate of Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, McCoole, MD.

Surviving are four sons, Samuel J. White III., and wife Jean, of Cumberland, MD; Tyrone G. White and Troy W. White, both of Keyser, and Maurice R. White, of Pittsburg, PA; 30 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. "Dookie" was one of eight children, some of who survive and some of who are deceased, Ronald Keys, Paul Keys, Jeanette Castaneda, Calvin Bruce Jr., Glenn Bruce, Robert Bruce, and Keith Bruce.

Upon her request, her body has been donated to the Human Gift Registry in Morgantown, WV.There will be no public visitation, but a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, McMullen Hwy, SW, McCoole, with the Elder Mike Mabin presiding.

Private inurnment will be at a later date.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
