Joyce Marie Arnold, 51, of Corydon, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. She was born October 30, 1963, in Corydon, to Russell L. Arnold and the late Bonita Ruth Chinn Arnold. She was formerly employed as a welder with Bert R. Huncilman and Son, Inc. in New Albany, was a member of Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her father of Corydon; her sisters, Rebecca Reed (Roger) of Central, Indiana, Karen Arnold (Delphine) of Louisville, Linda Oster (Michael) of Groveland, Florida and Sherie Lawton (Jim) of Corydon; her nieces and nephews, Kelly Reed, Eric Oster (Nicole), Megan Oster, Jennifer Hammond (Mark) and Clint Lawton (Addy); and her great niece and nephews, Kaylie and Mason Lawton and Cash and Ryland Hammond.
There will be a memorial visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
