Wayne Lee Fizer, 67, a lifelong Rushville resident passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Rushville.
Wayne was born in Rushville on February 12, 1948 to the late William W. and Goldie Mae (Fearin) Fizer.
Wayne married Lucille (Hendricks) Fizer on May 1, 1990 and she preceded him in death on December 9, 2015. Wayne worked in the kitchen at the Durbin Hotel for 12 years. Wayne was a Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and a Purdue fan. He loved sports and discussing the weather.
Survivors include 4 brothers, Arthur Fizer and wife Lois of Lincolnton, GA, William Fizer Jr. and wife Donna of Marion, IN, David Fizer and wife Alice of Henderson, IN and Robert Fizer and wife Donna of Pine Knots, KY, a sister, Mary Thorp of Rushville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife Lucille, Wayne was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Stephens.
Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville.
Friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM to 1 PM that same day at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
