A.J. Brown, Jr. 54, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2016. Born and raised in Northwest Georgia, A.J. played high school football. As a music enthusiast of all genres and a self taught guitar player, he worked with numerous local bands including The Crossfire Band as sound tech/stage manager. He was a fabulous promoter of fun. With his attention to detail, AJ became a jack of all trades. His work included construction, roofing, pool maintenance, property management, heavy equipment operator, and more.
He was an avid culinary enthusiast. AJ will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. & Billie (Dean) Brown, Sr.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4-9 p.m., all day Sunday, and until time of service on Monday.
