FRED HAYES STRAUGHN. -- Fred Hayes, 85, died Aug. 16 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Hunnicutt; Dublin. A retired businessman, he was a member of the Lewisville F. A. M. Masonic Lodge No. 72, and a member of St. John's Episcopal church, Chicago. Surviving are the widow, Minnie; the daughter; two grandchildren, Mrs. Carroll Palin and Harold Hunnicutt, Straughn, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Walter, Pullman, Mich. Private services were held Thursday in Dublin with burial in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum, Connersville.
