In 1711 Benjamin was baptised in the Pennepak Baptist Church and by 1720 he was a member of this church. Benjamin and his 1/2 brother Rev Able Morgan worked together expanding the Welsh Tract Church.
Benjamin was a minister at Montgomery Church for 48 years.
Benjamin married Sarah Miles the daughter of Richard and Sarah (Evans) Miles.
