Mrs. Heifner, a native of Leesville, La., passed away Sunday, April 21 in Slidell, LA. She was the widow of Fred E. Heifner, Sr. She was a resident of Plain Dealing until moving to Slidell in 1989. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Slidell.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Paula Heifner of Slidell; Dr. Fred E. Jr. and Jo Ann Heifner of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchilden, John Kevin Heifner, Charles Todd Heifner, Michael Brad Heifner, all of Birmingham, AL, Rebecca Caroline Heifner and Joel Phillip Heifner, both of Slidell, LA; and a sister, Gladys Moore of Leesville, LA.
