He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George "Steve" Meadows; and two aunts, Alberta Wise and Lannie Bell McJunkins. Surviving are his wife of 48 years Faye Burley; two sons, Kevin (Carol) Burley and Brian (Nikki) Burley; daughter, Wendy (Jermaine) Martin; fourteen grandchildren, Kevin, Kindred, Terrell, Rejiyah, Ashton, Zayden, and Braylynn Burley, Orlando Nichols, Tyrish Martin, Darius White, Joshua White, Perry Cooley, Farica Jupiter, and Dewayne Jupiter; and six great-grandchildren, Mahogany Spivey, McKinsey Burley, Ariyah Nichols, Octavian James, Ma'Khya White, and G'Niah Graham; and brother, Richard (Evenly) Burley.
