She was born on August 1, 1924 in Coshocton to the late George and Sylvia (Cox) Loos. In 1942, she graduated from Conesville High School as Valedictorian. On January 17, 1943 she married Marion C. Dunfee, who preceded her in death on December 2, 2002. Pauline worked for many years as the administrative assistant for Frontier Power Company. Prior to becoming a member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, she had been a member of the New Moscow Church where she played the organ and piano. She was also a member of the Milfork Valley Grange and the Wally Bynum Airstream Club. Some of her hobbies included quilting, cross-stitching, and sewing.
Pauline is survived by four children, Gerald E. (Barbara) Dunfee of Coshocton, Nancy E. (Steve) Murray of Coshocton, Barbara L. (John) Ravotti of Gahanna, and Kay A. (Steve) Gold of Westerville, nine grandchildren, Christa Bolden, Shawn (Renee) Dunfee, Shelly (Jeff) O'Dell, Marc (Stephanie) Murray, Cody (Nicole) Cox, Kevah LaHue, Devyn Gold, Zach Gold, and Alyx Gold, one granddaughter-in-law, Rachel Cox, one sister, Irene Neldon, one brother, George Loos, five great-grandsons, Brock, Ethan, Dustin, Skyler, and Talan, four great-granddaughters, Kylie (Ty), Carli (Austin), Keeley, and Pierce, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Loos, brother, Lister Loos, and grandson, Cory Cox.
A funeral service will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
