Dale E. "Eddie" Beck, 63 years old of Logansport, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, in Chase Center.
Born April 29, 1952, in Logansport, he was the son of Don R. and Betty Heiland Beck.
Eddie was a 1970 graduate of Lewis Cass High School.
For forty-three years, Eddie worked as a mechanic at Mike Anderson. He had a very strong work ethic and could fix anything. He also enjoyed the companionship of his
Dog, Tika.
Eddie enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He was also a longtime member of the NRA.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Wright of Logansport; two brothers, Kim E. Beck and his wife Lori of Logansport and Don C. Beck of Galveston; three nieces: Rebecca Sottilare and her husband John, Mariah Dawn Beck and Elizabeth Rose Beck; one nephew Mark David Beck; two great-nephews Ian Giles and Drake Morris; one step-brother Lee Wright of Richmond; two step-sisters, Barb Corwin and husband Michael and Jenny Holthouse, all of Richmond; and companion Theresa Beck of Galveston.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don R. Beck and his step-father, Larry Wright.
Family and friends will gather Feb. 10, in Fisher Funeral Chapel where a memorial service celebrating Eddie's life will be held at 7 p.m. Pastor Larry Robertson will officiate at the service.
Interment, at a later date, will be in Center U.M. Cemetery, near Young America.
