Bennettsville, SC - Frances Blue Quick, 73, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born July 20, 1942 in Bennettsville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Marshall and Livie Henslee Blue. Mrs. Frances was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, nursery worker and choir member. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roger O. Quick, Sr.; brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Charles, James, Fred and Herbert Blue; sisters, Syble Peacock, Ola Isgett and Virginia Evans.

Surviving are: son, Roger O. Quick, Jr. and wife Cindy; daughters, Mary Frances Burr, Glenda Quick Strickland and husband William; brother, Edmond Blue and wife Grace; sister, Magdalene Hyatt all of Bennettsville; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016, at Salem Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Burroughs & Cooper Funeral Home.
