Carol Beth Braswell Benton age 67 of Moultrie, died Thursday February 4, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday February 8, 2016 at Oakdale Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dudding officiating. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
Born January 28, 1949 to the late Hugh Dorsey Braswell and Florel Prince Braswell she was retired from the Colquitt County Board of Education as a teacher. She was an active member of Oakdale Baptist Church, she enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is preceded by her parents, her husband John Samuel Benton and brother Floyd Braswell.
Visitation will be from 3-5pm Sunday Feb. 7, 2016 at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
