Mrs. Dona Miles Dies at Her Home

Mrs. Dona Miles, 71, died yesterday evening at her home at 628 Maryland Av.

She was the daughter of the late G. W. and Mary Virginia Brotherton of Charleston, and was the wife of the late M. M. Miles, former local building contractor.

She was the sister of W. T. (Suey) Brotherton, Charleston business man and political figure.

Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs. James Smith, Mrs. Salter Crowder, Mrs. Lowell Milam, Mrs. William Johnson, and Mrs. Dellas Bias, all of Charleston, and Miss Virginia Miles of Winter Park, Fla.; two sons, A. A. Miles of Cincinnati, O., and W. T. Miles of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. W. D. McCutcheon of Richwood and Mrs. R. L. Basham of Charleston; two other brothers, B. R. Brotherton of Ripley and C. A. Brotherton of Charleston; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The body is at the Bartlett mortuary of Charleston with arrangements incomplete.
