Mrs. Sarah Ann Mefford, who had lived in Santa Ana for the last 30 years, passed away at the family ranch home yesterday morning after suffering injuries when she fell at her residence. She was 61 years of age.
Born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Mefford came to California 31 years ago. She leaves her husband, Andrew W, Mefford; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Welch, and three grand children, Lanson, Dorothy and Mildred Welch, all of Southgate; a sister, Mrs. Helen DeVoe of Santa Ana; her father, George W. Vaughn of Santa Ana.
