ADKINS, Vera Gleennita (nee: Bishop), 80 of Cincinnati, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Born to Walter Sr., and Dora (nee: Carmack) Bishop on July 30, 1935 in Manchester, KY. Vera worked as a Real Estate Agent for ReMax and was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Frayne Adkins, four brothers, Albert, James, Bruce and Walter Bishop, one sister, Elsie Haney and one grandson, Alex Cummins.

Vera is survived by her one son, William Jefferson (Laura) Adkins, two daughters, Kimberly A. Walker and SFC Darleen (Sandy Allen) Adkins, one brother, McKinley Bishop, two sisters, Jean Mason and Jane Campbell, five grandchildren, Brittany Schulze, Austin Walker, William Adkins Jr., Henry M. Adkins, Matthew W. Adkins and two great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Alexis Cummins and Oliver Hermann Schulze.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12th from 6:00-8:00PM at Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 12:00NOON also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon.
