Thomas W. Bearden, 90, of Doraville, GA, passed away peacefully May 28, 2011, after a brief illness. Born in Atlanta, GA in 1921, he was married for 58 years to his beloved wife, Wilma Bearden.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he had a 35 year career at the V.A. Hospital as a Radiology Technician. Mr. Bearden was a charter member of Northwoods United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Logan and husband, Paul, of Chamblee; brother, Glenn Bearden of Fayetteville; and sister, Fay Milligan of Tucker. The graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1st, at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross with Rev. Zack Martin officiating.
