Evelyn Flora Hentges, 89, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born March 23, 1926, in French, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Erwin and Desda Grace (Russell) Achilles. She was united in marriage on April 29, 1944, in St. Martins, Missouri, to Robert Herman Hentges, who preceded her in death on May 30, 2002. A homemaker, Mrs. Hentges was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Kerperin, Taos, and Carol (Robert) Kerperin, Taos; six grandchildren, Carla Massman, Paul Kerperin, Anita Branum, Daniel Kerperin, Dana Lalk, Kevin Kerperin, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Donald Kerperin; and a sister, Annabel Howser. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Christopher Aubucheon officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in St. Martins, Missouri.
