Mary E. Watkins, 78, a former resident of Church Street Commons, passed away Tuesday, Dec 12, 2006 at Squsque-View Home where she resided for the past two years.
She was born May 22, 1928 in Swissdale. She worked for Brodart and Daisy Diner.
She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Watkins Sr. in 1989.
Surviving are one son, Raymond Jr. of Lamar; two daughters, Laura Rinker and Mary Baldwin of Lock Haven; three grandchildren, Bobbi, Tammy and Chris; two great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Wyatt; one sister, Jean Doddato of Williamsport; and a cousin, Sally Fiedler of Lock Haven.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.Thursday, Dec 14, 2006 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Rev. Bruce Wallace officiating, friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.
Private interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
