Mrs. Alice A. Skinner, 100, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Snyderville, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 1977, at Doctors Hospital, Massillon, Ohio, following a brief illness.

Born in Snyderville March 26, 1876, she was a daughter of John and Mary (Rupp) Snyder.

Mrs. Skinner was a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Dayton. Her husband, Marion M. Skinner, died August 12, 1955.

Surviving is a son, Charles M. in Canton; two daughers, Mrs. Marian French, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Mabel Patton of Masontown; three sisters: Mrs. Cora Stewart and Mrs. Ethel Clever both of Dayton, and Mrs. Hazel Clever of Pleasantville; 18 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton, Ohio, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. William S. Hull.

Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery (Boggs Township.
