Bowman Smith, Sr.
Services for Bowman Lewis Smith, Sr., of 25 Woodhaven Drive, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with Dr. John S Rasco officiating.

Burial will be next week at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Smith died Friday at Medical Center Hospital after an illness.
He was born April 23, 1922, in Maryville, Tenn.

His wife, Katherine E King, died in 1979.

He was a senior district foreman for Arco Oil and Gas Co. until his recent retirement, a World War II veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Odessa.

Survivors include two sons, Bowman Smith Jr. of Odesa and Raymond B Smith of Fort Worth; one daughter, Barbara Smith Leeton of Midland; one brother, R.O. Smith, Jr. of Maryville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. David Binns of Dallas and Peggy Mello of California; and one granddaughter.

Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
