Beatrice is the daughter of Clarence Elroy Hendrickson, Sr and Anna Anzilla McUmber. She lived her younger years in Delaware County, in Rockland, Hancock and Livingston Manor. She loved to volunteer as a nurse's aide when she was young. She moved to Bound Brook, NJ with her sister, Dorothy, to pursue nursing. She ended up taking on a position at Bakelite Industries in Bound Brook as a secretary. She met her husband, Kenneth William Burton, there. They resided in a house built by Kenneth's father in New Market (Piscataway), NJ for many years. They divorced after having two children, Patricia Romayne Burton and Richard Henry Burton. She was employed by Parkway Plastics, Inc. in Piscataway as the secretary and treasurer until she retired. Her love was being with her family, gardening and her dogs.
