Obituary
GRANDALSKI, Jan Smith, 49, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by both of her grandfathers, C.E. Holladay and Arthur Smith, and her grandmother Mavin Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Rachel Monplaisir and her husband Jonathan Monplaisir; Kevin Grandalski and Jarod Grandalski; parents James A. Smith and Jeanette Holladay Smith; grandmother Vera Louise Holladay; sister Joy Campbell and her husband Roy Campbell, Jr., and their children Christopher, Bethany, Kaylie and Jamisen Campbell. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and co-workers at Taylor Chandler CPA. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister and will be missed greatly. Pallbearers will be Kevin Grandalski, Jarod Grandalski, Christopher Campbell, Allen Young, Jason Holladay and Jonathan Monplaisir. Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to Alacare Hospice for their compassionate care. The family ask that memorials be made in her honor to Vaughn Forest Baptist Church of the American Cancer Society.
