Laverda enjoyed traveling all over the country, watching movies, singing, and playing the guitar. She was raised by her grandmother, Maxine Penningjack and her great-grandmother Virginia Duncan, and they often traveled together.
She attended the Native American Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Cesspooch, grandparents, Clinton Duncan, Maxine Eleanor Penningjack, Frank Tate, and Virginia Duncan.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Ft. Duchesne Gym. She was taken to her home on Friday for a wake.
Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com.
