Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Ann Westervelt Martin. Mrs. Adams worked as a Sales Assoc. at the former KB Toys in Delmar for many years.
She is survived by her husband James W. Adams, her children, Helen "Snookie" (Gary) Crandall, Joseph (Lisa) Peragine, Sandra (Gary) Zeh, James (Catherine) Adams and Donald (Erin) Adams, her brothers Paul and Ray Martin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4 to 7pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, 10am in the funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont
