ADA PEARL SHIMER
Ada Pearl Shimer, 77, of Hesperia, Calif., died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1996, at her residence.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Herbert and Lona Sampson Smith. She was a homemaker, and a member of Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, James Shimer; one daughter, Deborah Susan Alvarez of Oxnard, Calif.; five sisters, Alma Bell of Tallmadge, Ohio, Dean Kaluza and Goldie Smith, both of Barberton, Ohio, Melvia Merideth of Columbus and Betty McCoy of Akron; one brother, Delbert Smith of Barberton; one stepson, Richard Shimer of Wadsworth, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Janice Stutler of Barberton; three grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Burial was in Cooper Cemetery, Creston.
