Celebration of Life services for Lorraine Adrian, 93, of Windom, Minnesota, formerly of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, February 16, 2016, at Sturm Funeral Home-Mountain Lake Chapel. The funeral home is located at 420 10th Street North.

Interment will be in Mountain Lake City Cemetery, located on 10th Street North at Midway Road.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home the day of the funeral service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Lorraine passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Sogge Good Samaritan Society in Windom.

Lorraine Helen (Radtke) Adrian was born on May 3, 1922, the daughter of Carl W. R. and Kathryn (Penner) Radtke in Cottonwood County, near Mountain Lake. She grew up in the Butterfield, Minnesota area and attended country school. She was baptized on May 3, 1936 at First Mennonite Church of Butterfield. She reaffirmed for confession of faith as an adult.

Lorraine married Abraham “Abe” Adrian on April 4, 1945 at First Mennonite Church of Mountain Lake.

During her life, Lorraine worked at the produce plant in Butterfield, Toro in Windom and as a janitor at her church for many years.

She was a homemaker who was well known for her baking, especially her peppernuts, zwieback and perischke. She also enjoyed patching and spending time with her family.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Richard Adrian and Verlo (Andrea) Adrian; brother-in-law, Joe Adrian; sisters-in-law, Ione Radtke and Twyla Radtke; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Adrian; sister, Esther Redekop and brothers Ed Radtke, Robert Radtke and Gary Radtke.
