Julia P. Jowers, 88, of Fairway Drive, met the Lord, July 11, 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband Lester Robert Jowers of 62 years in 1996.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Lester and Wylene Jowers, Hephzibah; Marty and Betty Jowers, Augusta; five grandsons Keith Jowers, Mike Carroll and wife Eve, Lester Jowers Jr. and wife Kristie, Rob Jowers and Paul Jowers; three granddaughters Marie Eddy and husband Eric, Angel Beamer, Jeanette Albright, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel in Hephzibah. Interment will follow at the Prickett Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tonight, July 15, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
