She was Born in El Paso, TX on February 10, 1911, and the first born of four children, Napoleon, Mary and Angelina who preceded her in death. Elvira was a determined, strong, independent woman who persevered challenges in her 105 years. She showed many of us that through devotion and hard work one can be successful, loved/happy at any stage of life. In her youth she lived in Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and California before following her parents to Monterrey, MX in 1926. In 1953, she settled in San Antonio, Texas and married Pedro R. Espinoza in 1963 remaining married until his death in 1998. She retired from SAISD after 20 years as a Cafeteria Manager. She is survived by her sons, Edward O. Gonzalez; and Francisco J. Gonzalez, and daughter Audrey R. Rodriguez. Grand-daughter Patricia A. Pena and Marisa Gonzalez Great-grand daughters: Lauren, Avery, Tessa and Sophia plus many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
