George Leland Austin 86, passed away February 12, 2016 at the Beehive home in Perry where he lived for the past 4 years.

George made friends easily because of his outgoing, friendly personality and genuine love for others. George was a dear, faithful and loving father and friend who was always encouraging and never complained no matter what the circumstance. He will be dearly missed.

George married Rosalie Happy in 1954 and they had 7 children together.

George grew-up in Garland, Utah and enjoyed the outdoors including Hunting, Fishing and Camping. He also had a great love of Music and Dancing.

He joined the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

George lived in Brigham City, Utah with his family and worked at Pillsbury for 41 Years where he worked in many capacities. George was a very joyful person and had a fantastic sense of humor and a very welcoming spirit.

George is survived by his 5 children, Lisa (Paul) Auger, Erin Peck, Sean Austin, Camron (Michael) Benson and Corbet (Lorene) Austin 17 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Son James Travis Austin, Daughter Paula Savage and Parents Clarence Austin and Elsie Brough, two sisters and three brothers.

Interment in the Garland Cemetery, with military honors.
