Arthur S. Galvin Jr. Of Abington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, February 14, 2016.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Marjorie (Frost) Galvin of Abington.

Loving father of Stephen J. of Holbrook, Elaine of Weymouth, Kathleen of Whitman, Robert of Canton, Maureen of Holbrook, Michael of Weymouth and the late Keith M. Galvin.

Dear brother of the late Pauline Sica.
He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Arthur proudly served his country as a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict.
He was a graduate, class of 1948, of the Commerce School, Boston.

Arthur worked for 45 years as a cost analyst at Stone and Webster Engineering Company and worked over 20 years as a store manager at Atlas Liquors in Quincy.

As a devout Catholic he served as an usher in St. Ann's Parish as well as an accountant on the finance committee at St. Bridget's Church in Abington.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
