Pebble M. Davis, 78, was translated to her Heavenly Home on March 18, 2007 after a rather brief illness.
She was born March 23, 1928 in Dameron, W. Va., to Hettie and Henry Rorrer, who preceded her in death, along with her brothers, Boyd, Bruce and Lacy Rorrer; and her beloved sister, Mamie Arbaugh. She was a resident of Barberton, Ohio for 54 years. She was an active member of the Barberton Bible Holiness Church and was retired from Interstate Brands Co.
She was a loving and faithful wife to her husband, Jeral, for 53 years and a wonderful mother to her daughter, Karen I. (Don) Gipson of Barberton and her son, Rev. Jeral W. (Ruth) Davis of Norton. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Donald (Tracy) Gipson of Wyoming, Eric (Tammy) Gipson of Misawa, Japan, Kari (Kevin) Collins of Massillon, Jennifer (Jeff) Self of Akron, Jerry W. Davis and Joanna Gipson of Norton. She also leaves great-grandchildren, Kari Gipson of Arizona, Sean Gipson of Wyoming, Autumn Gipson of Misawa, Japan, Kari Beth and Kassi Rae Collins of Massillon, Jessica and Jeffrey Self of Akron. Pebble also leaves her sisters, Mary Massey of Akron, Ann (Wade) Williams of Lakeland, Fla.; brothers, James (Rhonda) Rorrer of Barberton, and Denver (Gloria) Rorrer of Barberton. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She will also be greatly missed by her spceial friend, Harold Frase.
Pebbles will be greatly missed by her entire family. She was a wife who was truly devoted to her husband. She was a mother who always put her children's needs above her own and loved them as only a mother can. She was a grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And she was a Christain who sincerely loved her Savior, Jesus Christ.
