L.G. Lake aged 87 of Ionia passed away February 12, 2016 in Grand Rapids. He was born April 16, 1928 in Ionia, Michigan the son of Milton and Sarah Ruth (Main) Lake. L.G. married Shirley June Smalley May 29, 1954 she preceded in death May 17, 1983.
L.G. served in the Army during the Korean War. He farmed all his life and was a jack of all trades.
L.G. is survived by his children Dale (Patti) Lake of Tennessee, Dirk (Laurie) Lake of Ionia, Dawn (Jeff) Klinesmith of Ionia and Dane (Tracy) Lake of Grand Rapids. Sixteen grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, six brothers, two sisters and a daughter in law, Teresa Lake.
