Joseph William Devine of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Oakwood Residence. He was 79 years old. Joseph was born March 19, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Devine and the late Anna Devine (nee - Schuler).

He is the beloved husband of Dorothy Devine (nee Casillo). Father of Eric Devine and his wife Karen and Kevin Devine. Brother of Betty Rose.

Joe was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia. He graduated from Frankford High School in 1949. Joe served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was assigned to the 71st Engineer Flight Company in Japan. Joe was honorably discharged in 1952. Joe retired from the State of Pennsylvania after many years of service in the unemployment office.

Relatives and friends were invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
