Margaret Moore was the daughter of Eugene Maxwell Moore and Margaret Edith Graham.

She married Thomas Sherwood between
1930 and 1934. The couple had two children,
a daughter and a son.

She married Charles Clucas, son of Lowell Melcher Clucas and Frances Potter Tileston,
on November 24, 1946, in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut. The couple had one
child, a daughter.

Lyme -- Margaret M. Clucas, of Lyme, was born on April 11, 1915, in New York City.
She was the daughter of Eugene M. Moore
and Margaret Graham, a survivor of the Titanic. She passed away in her sleep, Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in her home.
Peggy was an accomplished Equestrian,
an extensive traveler and a lover of foreign culture. She resided in Sotogrande, Spain,
in the southern Province of Cadiz for many winters.
During her 40 years in Lyme, she was an advocate of wildlife conservation and land preservation. She supported the Audubon Society, The Natural Resources Defense Council, The Lyme and Trust, and the Old Lyme Nature Conservancy.
Peggy served on the Board of the East Side Settlement House for many years and acted
as chairman of their fundraising event, the New York Winter Antique Show from 1960
to 1962.
She is survived by her daughters, [living]
of Boynton Beach, Fla., [living] of Lyme and Paris, France, and a son, [living] of Southport, N.C.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, in the Lyme Congregational Church in Lyme. Interment will be private. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Old Lyme,
is handling the arrangements.
