Mary Goldsberry Hines Thomason Obit
Death has again visited our neighborhood, taking for its victim Mary E, wife of W. D. Thomason. She had been ailing for a few weeks but was not considered seriously ill until Friday morning and she departed this life Saturday evening at half past five. She leaves a husband and nine children; Fred, Blanche, Walter, Allen, Lawrence, Richard, Daisy, Ralph and Mary, the baby; also three brothers, Edward, Charles and Frank Goldsberry to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the home on Monday at ten o’clock, conducted by Rev. Osborne of Cone. Interment at the Foster cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.
Mr. Andy Thomason of Joy, Illinois, came in Tuesday morning, arriving too late to attend the funeral of his brother’s wife. He returned Wednesday morning.
