Services will be held Saturday at 11 in Church of God at Midvale for Charles Raymond Abbuhl, 89, of RD 1, New Philadelphia (Fairfield Township), who died Wednesday in Country Club Retirement Center at Dover.
Rev. David Allen will officiate and burial will be in Roxford Church Cemetery at RD 1, Dennison. Calling hours are tonight from 7 to 9 at Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home in Uhrichsville.
He was born at Sherrodsville, a son of John and Ella Easterday Abbuhl. He retired in 1968 from the former Clay City Pipe Co. at Uhrichsville where he was on the drawing crew.
He was a member of the Church of God at Midvale and a former resident of Uhrichsville and Midvale. On April 24 1926, he married the former Margaret E. Byers, who died Dec. 10, 1970.
Surviving are two sons, Larry D. of RD 1, New Philadelphia, Curtis D. of Dennison and Mrs. Walter (grandchildren; Marjorie) Biddlestone of Greenville; nine grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren. Two sons and a daughter, a brother, a sister and a grandchild are deceased.
