A Stockton truck driver was fatally injured shortly before 10 o'clock this morning when his big rig loaded with steel was struck by the Southern Pacific passenger train, the San Joaquin Daylight, in Tracy on Highway 50. The victim was Gerald Coon, 24, of 18 Marilyn, who was driving a truck owned by the Valley Steel & Welding Works, 935 E. Scotts, Stockton.
