February 7, 1971, on his 58th birthday. A resident of 3116 Moore Avenue, Eureka, formerly of Rio Dell. Husband of Esther Nylander of Eureka. Father of Mrs. Bonnie Walker of Ferndale; and Allen and John Nylander, both of Eureka. Grandfather of Richard and Rachel Nylander of Eureka; and of Kimberly, Merritt and Laurel Walker of Ferndale. Nephew of Mrs. Hilma Anderson and cousin of Runar Anderson, both of Freshwater Corners.

He had been associated with City Meat Market and the Redwood Meat Company with his two sons for many years. He was a member of Local No. 516 Butchers' Union, and the Runeberg Lodge No. 102 of Eureka. A native of Eureka. Age 58.

Services will be held at Sanders Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 9, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. E. Paul Hoefer of Calvary Lutheran Church officating. Active pallbearers will be Charlie Iaggi, Larry Knudsen, Charlie Clarke, Richard Olesen, James Sutfin and Arthur Kretner. Honoray pallbearers will be Wallace Kay, Charles Anderson, Runar Anderson and Harold Frost. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
