Lyons, Sept. 20 – Funeral services for Dr. Charles Kirkland Roys were held today at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. Albert L. Thomas and the Rev. Dr. L. A. Ostrander officiating. Interment was in Rural cemetery.
Dr. Roys had been a medical missionary to China fifteen years. He returned to America last spring on account of ill health. He died at the Mayo hospital, Rochester, Minn."
