Verle A. Soule, 88, of N. Syracuse, passed away Saturday, February 6th at Loretto. He was born in Syracuse to the late Raymond and Mildred (Fagan) Soule in 1927. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. Verle was employed by Chrysler New Process Gear for 50 years, retiring as a furnace repairman. In addition, he also worked for Dutch-Allright Parking for over 30 years. He was a longtime member of the UAW and avid NASCAR fan, enjoying many family trips to many races over the years. Verle was predeceased by his first wife Emily in 1983.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Wanda (Williams-Pizzuti), 11 children; Linda (David) Rivito, David (Annette), Debra (Gary) Berger, Garey (Mary), Thomas, twins-James (Brenda) and Robert (Paula), Steven, Frederick, Douglas (Victoria) and Jeffrey (Jaime), 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 2 step-children; Diane Williams and Louis Pizzuti, 5 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren and 3 step-great great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held 10 am Monday, February 15, 2016 at Life Church, 7125 Collamer Rd, E. Syracuse, NY 13057. There are no calling hours.
