WEST SPRINGFIELD - Phyllis E. (Moore) Gagnon, 82, of Piper Road died Thursday in a local nursing home. Phyllis was born in East Longmeadow and has lived in West Springfield most of her life. She was a retired sales clerk for the former Albert Steiger's Department Store. Her first husband Peter C. Belden died in 2000 and her second husband Chester Gagnon died in 1992. She leaves a daughter Linda Coffey and her husband Michael of West Springfield; two grandchildren Emily K. Besson and Sean M. Coffey; a great grandson Jack T. Besson and her niece Jacke Zeiher. Besides her husbands, Phyllis was predeceased by two sons John and Mark. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00pm with a private burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
